Description

Bridge over River Frome 1. 5191 backwater on Charminster Road 200 yds north of junction with A37 (Maiden Newton road) SY 6891 1/134 II 2. Probably early C19. Portland ashlar with rusticated voussoirs. 3 elliptical arches. Cutwaters. Band. Brown brick parapet with ashlar coping. Iron scroll at south end of east parapet adjoining otherwise undistinguished railings.
