Description
This bridge over the River Frome, located on the A37 (Maiden Newton Road) 50 yards north of the junction with Charminster Road, is likely from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features rusticated Portland ashlar voussoirs and a keystone. The bridge has two segmental arches, cutwaters, and an ashlar band. The parapet is topped with ashlar coping.
