Description
No. 28, High West Street is a late 18th or early 19th century house at the end of a row. It is constructed of painted brickwork with a slate roof. The house is two storeys and an attic, featuring a single window, all of which are 20th-century replacements. Above a full-height canted bay, which has a flat roof, there is a flat-roofed half-dormer. A 20th-century door is set beneath an arched opening with a painted-over fanlight, and is accessed by two steps. A brick ridge stack is positioned to the right, featuring a plain return to the left. A 20th-century lean-to addition has been made to the rear, and the interior was not inspected during the listing process.
