Description
Manor Farmhouse is an attached farmhouse located at right-angles to the road in East Chelborough. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and features stone walls that are rendered with rusticated stone quoins. The roof is slate with gable ends, and there are 19th-century brick stacks with cogged cornices. This double-depth house has parallel ridges and stands two storeys tall.
The façade has five windows; the ground floor includes two-light iron casements with ornamental glazing bars and depressed-arch heads, set in stone jambs and cills. The first floor has single-light windows, also with iron casements and depressed-arch heads. At the center, there is a porch that is rendered with rusticated quoins and has a slate roof with a gabled design and ornamental barge-boards. The entrance features a hollow-chamfered opening with a depressed-arch head and a 19th-century plank door.
