Description

Stour Provost Manor is a house dating from around 1825. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble walls with a low-pitched, slate hipped roof. Rendered stacks are present at various points on the building. The house comprises two ranges: a three-bay section to the south-west and a four-bay section to the north-east. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A pilastered porch provides entrance.

Inside, the principal rooms have moulded ceiling cornices. A staircase features scrolled spandrels, plain balusters, and a mahogany handrail.
