Description

The Brine Monument, located in the churchyard 7 meters south of the chancel of St Mary's Church, is a table tomb dating from 1770. It commemorates James Brine and his first and second wives, Jane and Alicia. The monument is constructed of ashlar stone and features a flat top with panelled sides. The end pilasters are decorated with channelled key-pattern designs.
