Description

This is a terrace of three cottages, likely dating from the 18th century. The cottages are constructed of rubble stone walls, with stone slate roofs, except for No. 2 which has a concrete tile roof. They have stone or brick end stacks. Mayflower Cottage, at the left end of the terrace, features a single-storey porch with an artificial stone slate roof, a C20 stable door, and windows with leaded lights. The ground floor has one C20 casement window with leaded lights, and the first floor has two similar windows. A lower extension has been added to the left end, built in matching materials and with a stone end stack. A C20 rear extension, also in stone with an artificial stone slate roof, is present. No. 2, in the centre, has a ledged door, two casement windows with glazing bars on both the ground and first floors. The adjoining cottage at the right end has brick end stacks, a ledged door, and two casement windows with a central glazing bar on each of the ground and first floors.
