Description

Coombe Farm House is a detached farmhouse that consists of two sections. The left section was built in the mid-19th century, while the right section, which is at a lower level, likely dates from the early 19th century. The building features rubble stone walls and stone slate roofs, with brick end stacks on the left section and a central stack on the right section. It is two storeys high.

The left section has a part-glazed panelled door located in a timber porch with turned uprights. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows with a central glazing bar, all set under stone arches. The first floor has three similar sash windows. The right section also has a part-glazed panelled door. Its ground floor features two casement windows with cast iron lattice glazing, also under stone arches, and the first floor has three similar windows. There is a single-storey lean-to extension at the right end of the building, and each section has a gabled rear extension built in matching materials.

The front boundary wall is constructed of stone and has flat coping, with square gatepiers topped with pyramidal caps.
