Description

Pymore Inn is a detached public house built in the mid-19th century. It features a stone ashlar front wall and rubble stone side walls, topped with a low hipped slate roof that has boxed modillion eaves. There are two rendered brick stacks, one on each side at the wall eaves. The building has two storeys and three sash windows with glazing bars, each with stone cills and flat arch voussoirs. On the south side wall, there is a round-headed window at landing level with marginal glazing bars and coloured glass in the margins, and below this is a three-light wooden casement also with glazing bars. The front door, located at the center, has a segmental head and a plain glass fanlight, although the door itself is from the 20th century. To the left of the inn, there is an attached outhouse with a gabled slate roof, a plank door, and one glass light.
