Description

This is a detached barn located 110 metres east of Haydon Parish Church, dating from the late 18th century. It features coursed rubble-stone walls and a double Roman-tile roof that is half-hipped at each end. The barn is a single storey and has a square stone porch at the centre of the south side, which also has a hipped Roman tile roof. There are no doors on the porch, but there are two pitch doors located to the east and west of the porch. The roof construction includes two sets of butt-purlins with halved collars.
