Description
A pair of attached houses dating from the early 19th century is located on King Street in Weymouth. The houses are built of rendered brick with a parapeted slate roof. They are arranged over three storeys and feature a double-depth plan.
The front elevation to King Street originally had eight-pane sash windows with removed glazing bars to the first-floor oriels, of which one is bowed, and later 20th-century windows and doors on the ground floor. A doorway to the right-hand side (No.15) is set within a semicircular arched opening. Dentilled cornicing sits above each oriel. The upper floor and the return elevation to Upway Street feature late 19th-century sash windows with horns, set within flat arches. A moulded cornice extends to the Upway Street elevation, where a later 20th-century door is located within an original semicircular-arched opening.
The interior was not inspected. The buildings are included on the list for their group value alongside Nos. 12 and 13.
