Description
Nos 8 and 9 Coombe Street are two late 18th century to 19th century buildings that stand two stories tall with a three-window front. They feature a slate roof that has a hip on the left side and a moulded and bracketed eaves cornice. The front is rendered with a colourwash finish. On the first floor, there are sash windows that are three panes wide. The ground floor has a three-light sash window with horizontal glazing bars missing at either end. The central opening on the ground floor has been converted from a door into a window, with the entrance to No 8 now accessed through a modern porch addition on the left side. No 9 has a five flush panelled door, with the upper four panels being glazed. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 6, 6A, and Nos 7 to 10, along with the Old Police Station.
