Description

Norman House, located at 29 Coombe Street, is a 19th-century building featuring three storeys and three window bays. It has a slate gabled roof and a stone front with pink pointing and a plinth. The building includes sash windows with frames and no glazing bars. The doorway is framed with an architrave, frieze, and a dentil cornice, and it has a six-panelled door with the upper four panels cut away and glazed, along with plain reveals. This building was formerly the town's Post Office, and a wooden box for letters remains. Norman House is part of a group with Nos 29 to 32.
