Description

No. 20 Greenhill is a house dating from the 1820s to 1840s, with a later extension. It is constructed of rendered material, likely over brick, and has a concrete tile roof with a brick stack. The house follows a double-depth plan and has two storeys with an attic. The facade has two windows and bows to the left where it adjoins No. 18. String courses are visible at the first floor level and beneath the parapet. Late 20th-century replacement windows are set within original openings, and there are two small, 20th-century flat-roofed dormers. The street-facing elevation has undergone considerable alteration. The interior remains uninspected. The building is included on the list for its group value along the seafront.
