Description

This is a row of early 19th-century stucco-fronted houses located on the east side of North Allington. Numbers 38 and 40 have a modern pantile roof, while numbers 42 and 44 have a pitched slate roof. Red brick stacks are visible. The houses are two stories high. Number 38 has one sash window, and number 40 has one. Number 42 has modern windows, and number 44 has one casement window with glazing bars and one modern window. Numbers 22 to 80 (even) are grouped with numbers 1 to 13 (consecutive) on Portland Place.
