Description

A pair of probably 18th-century buildings located in North Allington. The buildings are constructed of colourwashed brick with a pitched slate roof and coped gables, featuring red brick stacks. The front elevation has two storeys and incorporates three ranges of modern casement windows. A doorway is characterised by reeded surrounds and a modern hood. The rear section appears to be a former net works, built of hammer-dressed stone over three storeys, with three ranges of casement windows containing glazing bars and two ranges of planked loading doors accompanied by a winch hoist. There is a segment-headed opening that leads to a passage running the width of the building.
