Description

Seymer Place consists of a terrace of three single-fronted houses built around 1830 by William Morton Pitt, possibly as lodging houses. The houses are rendered with a slate roof. Each house has an entrance door and one window on the ground floor, and two windows on each of the upper floors. The doorways have a plain circular head and a fanlight, with a six-panel door. They have double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Number 4 has a later addition to the north. The houses are raised above pavement level, accessed by stone steps and set back behind parapetted retaining walls.
