Description
Old Boywood Farm is a house dating from the late 17th century, though it may incorporate some earlier materials. The building is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and render, topped with a double Roman tile roof featuring gable ends. It stands two storeys high and has a four-window range. The ground floor openings on the right side are set under segmental brick arches, and there are 20th-century two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. To the right, there is a single-storey half-hipped thatched extension made of rubble. Inside, the property has stowed, shallow chamfered ceiling beams, and one room features a ceiling with intersecting deep chamfered beams.
