Description
Number 93 on South Street is an 18th-century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone and topped with a slate roof. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a wood modillion eaves cornice. On the first floor, there are two casement windows. The ground floor showcases an early 19th-century bowed window with shutters. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels, framed by a moulded architrave and topped with a hood supported by shaped brackets. There is also one plain doorway and a hipped attic dormer. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 87 to 95, which houses the Friends Meeting House, and Nos 99 to 159 on the same side of the street.
