Description
This 18th-century dovecote is located 30 metres north-west of The Old Rectory in Puncknowle. It features rubble-stone walls and a half-hipped stone slab roof, with one open storey. The entrance is situated on the south gable wall, consisting of a wooden plank door framed with wood and topped with a lintel. Inside, there are pigeon-holes made of rubble-stone on three of the walls. The interior also includes a tie-beam roof construction, which has been largely renewed.
