Description
Number 7 Market Place is a 18th-century building featuring a four-window front, two storeys, and an attic. It has a steep, slightly mansard roof with two dormers. The exterior includes a brick dentil cornice. On the right-hand side, there is a rebuilt yard entry with a window above it. The Georgian shop-front may be a modern reproduction. The house door is located to the right of the shop-front and is part of the overall structure. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in Market Place, which includes Nos 59 to 73 (odd) East Street, Conyers Filling Station, Nos 1 to 7 (odd), Nos 2 to 8 (even), and No 12 West Street, as well as the Church of St Peter and St Paul. Additionally, Nos 1 to 7 (odd) Market Place form a group with Nos 1 and 3 Salisbury Road.
