Description

Saint Edward's Bridge is a bridge over the Corfe River, likely built in the late 18th century. It was widened in the 20th century in a style that matches the original design. The structure is made of rubble stone and features rebuilt brick parapets with shaped stone copings. It has a single arch with alternate projecting voussoirs, which are flanked by shallow stone pilasters. The walls of the bridge are canted outwards at each end.
