Description
Masonic Hall, located at 27 West Street, is an 18th-century building, constructed after 1731. It features a three-storey red brick front with two windows, and has a brick dentil eaves cornice. The building has sash windows, with stucco applied to the ground floor. The entrance door is topped with a gabled hood supported by carved brackets. Notably, the glazing bars are missing except for those on the ground floor. The hall is part of a group that includes the outbuilding behind the Crown and Anchor Public House and Nos 17 to 27 (odd).
