Description

The Crown and Anchor Public House is a corner building dating from after 1731. It is three stories tall and features five windows, with one additional window on the splayed angle. The structure is clearly of early 18th century design and has sash windows with segmental heads, along with two gable windows on the second floor. It is adorned with a coved cornice and has later stucco, applied half-timbering, and an eaves fascia. The public house is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 11 (odd).
