Description

Nos 17, 18, and 18A on High East Street are possibly from the 16th century. The front is rendered, and the building features a pitched tile roof with stone slates above the eaves. There is a 19th-century brick stack. The ground floor is mostly modern, except for a panelled door to No 18A. On the first floor, there are three pairs of fixed windows with glazing bars. The roof contains four trusses with principal rafters and chamfered collar beams, and there are two purlins on each side that are tenoned into the principals. Nos 14 to 20 form a group.
