No. 35 High East Street is a three-storey building with a four-window stucco front, dating from the early 19th century. It features a moulded eaves cornice and has a large Victorian shopfront. This building, along with Nos. 35 to 43 (consecutive), Nos. 39A and 39B, the arch between Nos. 40 and 41, and the British Legion Headquarters, forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
