Description

Saint John's is a house dating from the early 17th century. It features a heavy timber box frame with brick infill, although some areas have been partly rebuilt in brick. The roof is half hipped and thatched. A moulded brick stack, typical of the 17th century, is located to the right of the center. The building has two storeys and irregular window arrangements. There is one 2 and 3-light 20th-century timber casement window with glazing bars. The upper floor windows were likely originally oriel windows and still show traces of moulded timber heads. A plank door leads into the lobby entrance.
