Description

This is a detached cottage located 10 metres north-west of the Manor House, dated 1698 above the front door. The date is presented in sunk relief with figures and a fleur-de-lis within a chalice-shaped surround. The cottage features dressed stone walls and a tile roof with stone gable copings. There is a stone stack on the left-hand gable. The building is two storeys high and has two windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars. There is also a blocked stone bull's-eye window at the first floor level. The front door, located at the centre, is a plank-and-muntin style from the 18th century or later. The cottage is listed as Grade II* due to its important group value.
