Description
The buildings of St Edmund's and St George's were constructed around 1830. They are two-storey, three-window front buildings, comparable in style to St Patrick's and St Andrew's, but with more elaborate detailing. Both have slate gabled roofs and a moulded cornice. Giant pilasters are located at each end of the facades. St Edmund's has a colour-washed front, while St George's has a rendered front. The windows are sash windows with four panes per sash. Round-headed doorways are topped by flat stone arches with decorative mouldings; above each doorway is a semi-circular fanlight with radiating tracery. The doorways are flanked by six-panelled doors, with the two uppermost panels glazed.
