Description

The main barn at Manor Farm, located approximately 40 meters east of Manor Farm House, dates from the 18th century. It features brick walls built on a rubble stone base and has a stone slate roof. On the west side, there is a large cart entrance flanked by lean-to additions that match the barn's construction. The east side has a projecting cart porch with a catslide roof, which extends to the north as a lean-to. The barn consists of seven bays and has a simple tie-beam roof. This building is a property of the National Trust and is recorded as a monument in the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, Volume II for Dorset.
