Description

Fourways is a house, possibly originally two cottages, with a probable origin in the 17th century, although it has been significantly altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The house is constructed of whitewashed, rendered, and brick walls, with thatched roofs and brick stacks at each end and in the centre. The gable faces the road. The house has a mix of two-storey and one-and-a-half-storey sections, with a 19th-century two-storey canted bay to the left. Most windows are two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. A 20th-century door is located at the rear of the building.
