Description

A pair of cottages, likely dating from the early 19th century, are located on The Cross in Iwerne Courtney or Shroton. The cottages are constructed of brick, with a thatched roof. An end brick stack is positioned to the east, and a portion of the ridge has a stack positioned further west. A first-floor plat band runs horizontally around the building, and a simple modillioned eaves cornice is present. The fenestration is irregular, with 19th-century casements featuring horizontal glazing bars set beneath segmented brick heads. Part-glazed doors are also a feature.
