Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of five buildings, numbered 37 to 45 Ropewalks. The buildings are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some limestone ashlar visible on the ground floor. They have pitched slate roofs and red brick stacks. The buildings are three storeys high, featuring five ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. Five modern doors have been added. Behind the sash windows are five ranges of casement windows, also with glazing bars.
