Description

CASTLETON ROAD 1. 1625 (South Side) Middle House ST 6416 2/260 28.11.50 II GV 2. Adjoining Lattice House. 3 windows C17 stone front, 2 storeys and attics. Partly stone slate roof with two hipped dormers having lead glazing. Mullioned windows of stone. C18 doorway has segmental pediment supported on brackets with rosette ornament.

Church of St Mary Magdalene, Churchyard walls, piers and gates, Lattice House, Garden Wall and piers to Lattice House, Middle House and Raleigh Lodge form a group with the gates at the entrance to Sherborne Castle in Sherborne Rural District.
