Description

Tregenhorne Farmhouse dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble and killas, with granite dressings, and has a scantle slate roof covered in slate, with brick chimneys on the gable ends. The farmhouse has cast-iron ogee gutters and external rubble chimney breasts. The plan is double depth, comprising a wide kitchen/living room on the left and a parlour on the right, flanking an entrance hall. A stair hall sits between these rooms and a rear service area.

The two-storey east front has a nearly symmetrical facade with three windows and a doorway and window above, positioned to the right of the centre. Original features include a four-panel door with an overlight and sixteen-pane hornless sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.

In front of the farmhouse is a rectangular garden enclosed by rubble walls. The gateway is defined by granite monolithic piers.
