Description

This is a 19th-century guidestone made of painted granite. It stands about one metre high and has a triangular plan with a roughly hewn appearance. The stone features carved and painted lettering in sans-serif upper case, which includes directional arrows and benchmarks indicating the locations of St Columb, Newquay, Bodmin, St Austell, St Columb, and Tresadorn.
