Description

Wellhouse, located approximately 120 meters southeast of Pentireglaze, dates from the 18th century. It features thick low stone rubble walls and a stone rubble roof with a front gable end, topped by a flat slate slab. The building has a rectangular plan and is built into the side of a bank over a spring. The entrance is located in the front gable end, which has a triangular arched head that is truncated by the flat roof. Inside, there is a rectangular well opening and a stone corbelled roof with a flat top.
