Description
Marlborough Cottage is a small house built in the early 19th century. It features coursed rubble construction with granite quoins and a dry slate hipped roof that has projecting eaves, along with brick end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan that includes a rear extension. Its design incorporates Gothic style windows and is two storeys high with a symmetrical two-window front. The windows have pointed arches and are fitted with 20th-century copy sashes that have glazing bars intersecting at the heads. There is a central porch with a slate-hung gable and a 20th-century six-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
