Description

Parc-an-Growes Farmhouse is an estate farmhouse dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The farmhouse has projecting eaves and verges with exposed purlin ends, and there are two brick chimneys at the gable ends, each with diagonally set shafts and cogged cornices.

The building has a three-room L-shaped plan, with a two-storey dairy addition on the right side. It stands two storeys high and has an asymmetrical façade, with a projecting wing to the left. The southeast front has two windows, a shallow gable-ended wing on the left, and a gabled stone dormer towards the right. The doorway is located to the left of the middle, adjacent to the angle, and features chamfered lintels. The ground floor windows are wider, and there are original ledged doors along with original two or three-light casement windows, each having six panes per light. The interior has not been inspected.
