Description
Latchley Methodist Church is a Methodist chapel built in 1824. It is constructed of painted slatestone rubble with granite quoins and features a slate roof with gable ends. The building has a single auditorium plan, with a porch at the front gable end and a ritual east at the rear gable end. Inside, there is a gallery around the sides and rear.
On the exterior, the front gable end has two 9-pane windows with round brick arches and splayed glazing bars. The gabled porch has a similar round-arched window in the gable end and 20th-century double doors on the right side, which have a segmental arch and keystone. The rear gable end is blind, while each side of the building has three tall 24-pane windows with round brick arches and splayed glazing bars. The interior is not accessible.
