Description
Milestone located 120 metres north of Starapark, dating from around the mid 18th century. It is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone is inscribed with "L 14" and references the Act of Parliament for making or repairing roads from Launceston to Camelford, Wadebridge, St Columb, and Truro, which was passed in 1759. Rev. William Phillips, the Rector of Lanteglos, was responsible for inscribing the figures on the milestones.
