Description
This granary, dating from the early to mid 19th century, is located 2 meters north of a barn and 30 meters north of Bokelly. It features a timber frame that is hung with slate and has a slate pyramid roof. The structure is square in plan and is raised above the ground on three rows of three staddle stones, with the tops of the staddle stones removed. There are stone rubble steps leading up to the entrance, which has a plank door. Inside, the posts are fitted with slots for internal dividing boards, some of which remain partly intact. The granary is situated close to the notable barn and house at Bokelly.
