Description

LEATHERHEAD YOUNG STREET TQ/15/NE (south side, off) 3/175 Granary approx. 15 metres north-east 6.10.89 of Bocketts Farmhouse

GV II Granary. c.1800. Weatherboarded timber frame on staddle stones. Square single cell. The east front has a raised doorway, with a small pitched capopy; the sides have louvred ventilators. Interior: wooden grain bins with slots for shuttering. The item is a small but valuable element of an unusually complete group of farm buildings on this site.
