Description
This is a small, early 17th-century house situated over what is believed to have been a former fish cellar. The exterior is roughcast render on a probable rubble base, topped with a steep roof of asbestos slate, featuring two dormer windows. The plan is double-depth. The house stands two storeys high, with a portion of the first floor partially within the roof space, and has a basement. Windows are 20th-century casements, with either six or twelve panes to each light. A porch on the left-hand side provides access to the main house, approached by a staircase of nine granite steps from the right. The porch contains a 20th-century planked door, while an older planked door leads to the basement, located beneath the staircase landing. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
