Description
The churchyard wall at Ladock, located at the southeast corner, is made of stone rubble and features a granite slab that is inscribed with the date 1633 in Arabic numerals along with Roman letters, and the initials R.G. below. The wall includes a gateway with dressed granite coursed piers that extend into both the road and the churchyard, suggesting there may have been a grid stile that is now hidden beneath tarmac. There are two granite steps leading up to wrought iron gates, which have closely spaced bars beneath scrolled rails adorned with fleurs-de-lys above wider spaced bars. The gates also feature curved top rails with fleur-de-lys finials and a near semi-circular bar that connects the gate piers.
