Description

SW 73 SE BUDOCK TREWOON

3/58 Gate-piers at approximately 10 metres south east of Trewoon Manor 10.7.57 House GV II* Gate-pier, remaining one of a pair (the other pier is demolished and survives in pieces nearby). Circa late C17. Granite ashlar with granite dressings. Square-on- plan pier. The pier has an entablature with moulded architrave, ashlar frieze and cyma moulded cornice to a bell-shaped cap. The ball finial is missing.
