Description

This granary, located about 25 metres northwest of Hatt House in Botus Fleming, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is a timber-framed structure, covered in weatherboarding and corrugated iron, with a hipped scantle slate roof featuring ridge tiles. The granary stands on tall granite staddle stones, which elevate it about one metre off the ground. Its small square plan is supported by nine staddle stones. The exterior includes a plain door on one side and three louvred windows for ventilation on the other sides.
