Description
This is a group of seven tombchests located 10 to 18 metres east of the south aisle of the Church of St David. The group includes four 18th century tombchests belonging to the Hayne family, which feature the tombs of John Hayne, a yeoman, and Elizabeth Hayne. Additionally, there are two 18th century tombchests of the Ruby family and one tombchest of Henry Bennett, who died in 1769. These tombchests are made of stone rubble and are rectangular in shape, topped with slate lids. The inscriptions on the tombchests are presented in upper and lower case lettering, written in script with serifs.
