Description

This is a 19th-century lychgate located approximately 20 metres northwest of the Church of St Laud. It features a wide gateway with a grid stile and a central coffin rest, flanked by high-backed stone settles. On either side of the gateway, there are low churchyard walls. The backs of the settles and the walls are topped with segmentally-headed granite copings. The left-hand side wall is ramped up and connects to a rubble and earth hedge on the right. The low walls flanking the path also have granite copings.
