SW 72 SE ST. ANTHONY -IN-MENEAGE 5/201 The Mill and adjoining farm - buildings

GV II

Mill and associated buildings. Circa early mid C19. Serpentine and elvan rubble with dressed granite quoins, jambstones, sills, voussoirs and lintels. Mostly scantle slate roofs with hips and gable ends. L-shaped plan with wheel pit within a lean-to projecting outside the angle at the west. Single storey cart shed attached at the end (south) of the west range. Two storeys. Shallow arches over the 3 principal wider door openings. The east end of the north range has a lower eaves level with brick pigeon holes under the eaves. Mostly door openings including 3 1st floor loading doors. There are 4 windows altogether, one still with its wooden shutter. Interiors are structurally complete with original floors and roofs. Partly derelict at the time of the survey (1985) but grouped near Roskruge Barton Farmhouse and little altered since built.
